Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A temporary Physical Therapy position is available for the Extended School Year (ESY) session, serving K-12 students in a school setting located in Boston, MA. This contract opportunity runs from July 1 through August 7, Monday through Thursday, with July 3 being a half day. The focus is on providing PT services within a school environment, supporting pediatric students developmental and physical needs.
Responsibilities include evaluating and treating students with physical therapy needs, collaborating with educators and school staff, and utilizing pediatric equipment or adapting quickly to new tools to deliver effective therapy. The role supports students' progress in physical abilities to maximize their participation in educational activities.
Preferred qualifications and experience :
This position may extend into the fall semester, providing services at the Community School and Mini School locations in the surrounding area.
