Executive Education Coordinator, Texas McCombs
As a member of the Texas Executive Education team (TEE), the Executive Education Coordinator's goal is to create a premier end-to-end participant experience, supporting program success for business contacts and participants. The role's priorities will include understanding each client's unique needs, building rapport with TEE participants, and managing all logistics of a portfolio of programs. The role will partner closely with TEE directors, coordinators, faculty members, clients, and participants to ensure successful programs and participant experiences, resulting in satisfied long-term clients.
Responsibilities
- Engage with Executive Education clients, participants, and faculty to provide professional coordination services during the program delivery, both on and off campus (or virtual), and to get feedback on their experience in real time. Provide needed support for existing programs and make recommendations for improvements or modifications to ensure that participants have an extraordinary learning experience.
- Work with Executive Education clients, faculty, Directors and program participants in a professional manner to prepare for the successful delivery of Texas Executive Education's nondegree custom programs, open enrollment classes, and other professional development offerings or special events. Represent the University in an official capacity as a liaison with clients and program participants.
- Make timely arrangements for administrative and logistical program support, including but not limited to the arrangements for the necessary facilities, housing, food, equipment needs, and instructional materials. Negotiate vendor contracts. Work within budget constraints. Supervise student employees as necessary.
- Manage program evaluations, maintain, and update participant and program records as well as prepare related programming reports. Recognize ways to improve TEE services to enhance the participant experience.
- Other related functions as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree. A combination of three years of experience event planning and / or coordinating conferences, seminars, short-courses or workshops. Demonstrated experience building effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and client groups. Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and in highly collaborative team environment.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with event planning or custom executive development programs. Experience working with corporate clients. Previous experience working in higher education.
Salary
$50,000 + depending on qualifications
