Raytheon is looking for a Radar Senior Principal Systems Engineer to support the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) department. The MDS department provides subject matter expertise for concept development, architectural design, requirements generation & flow-down, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, integration, test and evaluation of world-class Missile Defense & Sensor Systems to be achieved through our people, processes, technology and performance.

This position is located onsite in Woburn, MA. What you will do :

You will be working as part of a team to define radar system requirements, design architectures and algorithms in support of those requirements and collaborate with software development teams to ensure effective implementation. Some specific responsibilities include :

• Analyzing radar system performance data with respect to requirements
• Identifying performance deficiencies and proposing solutions
• Defining and prototyping new algorithms to enhance system performance
• Presenting plans, designs and system performance to peers, internal leadership and external customers
• Providing subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
