Procurement Specialist
As the Procurement Specialist, you'll play a vital role in supporting our engineering teams by sourcing, negotiating, and managing hardware, software, and cloud subscriptions from a diverse range of vendors. You'll be the bridge between our technical staff, vendors, and clients - ensuring seamless procurement and delivery of technology solutions.

Responsibilities
Collaborate & Communicate : Work directly with engineering teams to understand client needs and recommend the most suitable hardware and software solutions. Communicate clearly and proactively with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.
Vendor Management : Establish, manage, and grow vendor relationships to secure the best pricing and streamline the purchasing process. Negotiate cost savings and maintain positive partnerships.
Procurement Operations : Oversee ordering, tracking, and delivery of all hardware and software purchases. Optimize procurement workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
Project Support : Coordinate with engineering and finance teams to support project schedules, invoicing, payments, and financial documentation.
Problem Solving : Own and resolve procurement issues quickly and effectively, always striving for the best outcome for BNC and our clients.
Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and contribute ideas for operational excellence.
Qualifications
Technical Knowledge :
Strong understanding of IT hardware, software, and licensing.
Experience with procurement tracking systems (e.g., ConnectWise) and finance tools (e.g., QuickBooks).
Experience :
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 4 years of experience selling or supporting technology solutions.
Proven ability to manage multiple vendor relationships and prioritize competing demands.
Communication Skills :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Proactive in sharing updates, resolving issues, and collaborating across teams.
Organization & Initiative :
Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented.
Demonstrated initiative and ownership of responsibilities.
Ability to excel in a high-demand, fast-paced environment.
Flexibility :
Remain agile and responsive, adjusting approaches as needed to meet business and client needs.
Ability to balance priorities across internal departments and locations.
Nice-to-Haves :
Strong relationships with IT vendors in various fields.
Experience with ConnectWise Sell platform.
Familiarity with various hardware and software solutions in the IT field.
What We Offer :
Salary Range : $70,000 to $85,000 per year, based upon relevant experience
