Quality Lean Leader
The Quality Lean Leader at GE Vernova will serve as a key driver of operational excellence by deploying and scaling the Zero Defect Quality Framework across all business units. This role focuses on embedding Built-in Quality (BiQ) practices and advancing Live Outage by facilitating structured projects, kaizen events, and targeted interventions in collaboration with the businesses. The successful candidate will bring cross-business best practices into focused implementation efforts to accelerate improvements in quality performance, customer satisfaction, and cost of poor quality (COPQ). Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may influence work.
Key Responsibilities :
Zero Defect Framework Deployment : Lead the implementation and scaling of GE Vernova's Zero Defect Quality Framework across businesses by partnering with operations, engineering, and quality teams within each Business.
Built-in Quality (BIQ) : Drive this initiative across each business as the standard operating model. Integrate quality at the source, ensuring that critical processes are error-proofed and aligned with customer expectations. Identify gaps and help establish countermeasures to reduce COPQ.
Live Outage : Lead quality improvements by standardizing field activities during outages and installation by coordinating process adherence, identifying systemic failure points, and coaching teams in the field. Develop and enhance standard work using video and easy to follow instructions and measure results.
Kaizen and Continuous Improvement : Facilitate cross-functional kaizen events focused on high-impact areas. Ensure standard work, root cause analysis, and sustainable countermeasures are embedded. Develop, Identify, and deploy Lean tools designed to drive core revenue growth of the business
Support the implementation and the governance of the Operating Method Read Across : Capture and disseminate best practices across GE Vernova's portfolio. Act as a knowledge integrator to support replication of successful approaches.
Quality Transformation Projects : Support businesses with hands-on quality improvement projects aligned to their strategic priorities and Hoshin Kanri (Strategy Deployment) objectives.
Change Enablement : Engage with leaders and frontline teams to build a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning around quality.
