Job Title : Receptionist and Patient Care Coordinator
Our physical therapy practice is seeking a highly organized and friendly Receptionist and Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our patients and visitors, as well as coordinating patient care with our medical staff.
Responsibilities :
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify patient insurance information and collect copays
- Coordinate patient care with medical staff, including scheduling appointments and follow-up care
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Communicate and coordinate with physician liaison for marketing
Requirements :
- High school degree or equivalent
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in document and spreadsheet generation and management
- Comfortable with technology including tablets and cloud-based systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred :
- Prior experience in a medical office setting
- Certifications and / or credentials denoting experience in clerical and medical office skills
