As a Commissioning Project Engineer (CxPE), you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of data center capacities by managing project milestones, auditing, calibration, and commissioning for new construction and Capital Improvement Projects (CIPP). This position is part of a unique career development program designed to guide you toward becoming a Commissioning Engineer (CxE) through a structured three-phase mentoring process.

The Team
The AWS Data Center Commissioning Team (ACx) operates as an independent business within the DCGS organization. This team, comprising experienced professional Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Controls Engineers, Project Managers, and Operators, is dedicated to providing comprehensive engineering and operational reviews and testing of equipment designs, functionality, and construction practices. We focus on delivering high-quality products quickly while maintaining full transparency and tracking all defects discovered during commissioning.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000 / year in our highest geographic market, influenced by market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to salary, Amazon offers a comprehensive total compensation package that may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a variety of medical and financial benefits.
