Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

ACHIEVE Speech and Language Services, PLLC is a growing speech pathology practice serving the communication needs of children and families in and around Houston, TX. Our main office is located in the Atascocita area, and we have expanded into the Spring area this year! We are seeking highly skilled SLPs to join our friendly, outgoing team at both locations.

Responsibilities and Duties
Administer diagnostic tests and provide individualized treatment to children with a variety of communication and feeding disordersParticipate in the design and implementation of therapy programs addressing speech / language, voice, and feeding problems for a diversified patient populationDocument patient progress and maintain accurate electronic recordsInterpret findings and treatment plans to patients families, physicians, dentists, and other involved partiesTreat a variety of areas including speech, language, feeding, oral function, and myofunctional disordersAdvise physicians and dentists of test results and recommend / implement appropriate treatmentsReview data and adjust programs as needed to ensure effectivenessCollaborate with families to meet client needs and determine further interventions if necessaryOpportunity to treat both pediatric and young adult patientsWrite reports on diagnostic findings, therapy provided, and progressEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsStay current with developments in the field through professional seminars and workshopsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications and Skills
Graduate of a masters-level Speech Language Pathology program accredited by the Education Standards Board or ASHA certification equivalent (CFs welcome to apply)SLP Assistants welcome to apply if bilingual (Spanish / English)Active and current Texas Speech Language Pathology LicenseCurrent Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from ASHA
