• 5+ years of experience in aerospace or mechanical engineering
• Experience with manufacturing processes or materials science
• Knowledge of standards and regulations such as MIL-STD or ASME
• Knowledge of DoD sustainment and acquisition processes, Technical Data Package (TDP) creation, and DoD acquisition requirements generation
• Ability to review and understand technical drawings and identify critical characteristics
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues for mechanical systems and components
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, resolve technical issues, and present to senior ranking officials
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in a Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Systems Engineering field Nice If You Have :
• Experience with SysML and digital engineering processes and tools such as Cameo, Teamcenter, or a related tool
• Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Experience with DoD Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E)
• Ability to coordinate and manage Engineering Technical Assistance Request (ETAR) processes and procedures, including AFMC guidelines and the use of AF Form 107 and AF Form 202
• Master's degree in Engineering Clearance : Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
