Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and Epic charting proficiency for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in a short-term acute care hospital setting
  • CT Technologist working Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7 : 30 AM to 8 : 00 PM (3x12 hours day shifts)
  • Patient ratio is 1 : 1
  • Requires on-call coverage for one week during contract
  • No weekend shifts required
  • Charting is done using Epic; experience with Epic is required
  • No required floating between units within the main facility, but possible floating to sister facilities may be expected
  • All scrubs may be worn in any color
  • Must be willing to float to affiliate or sister facilities as needed
  • Completion of pre-start and annual online modules is required
  • Candidates must commit to work at least 3 out of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day)
  • Former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not live within 50 miles of the facility
  • Return policies require 3 months between perm and travel assignments
  • Minimal or no requested time off (RTO) is preferred and must be submitted up-front; excessive requests may delay or hinder the offer process
  • Parking is free

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience required
  • Current CT license required (license may be pending for consideration)
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Must provide two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years
  • Must have a vehicle for this assignment
  • SSN and date of birth required for compliance
  • License required if applicable
