Supply Chain Associate
A detail-oriented Supply Chain Associate to support procurement and inventory operations using ERP systems for requisitions, PO tracking, and reporting. The associate will communicate with suppliers to resolve order and invoice issues, maintain organized documentation, and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to align logistics with project demands, uphold safety standards, and respond effectively to changing priorities. It also calls for basic analytical abilities, dependability, and the physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Enter purchase requisitions, monitor purchase order statuses, track inventory levels, and generate standard reports using ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Deltek
- Communicate professionally with vendors to confirm order status, delivery schedules, and resolve discrepancies or invoice issues
- Organize and manage records related to procurement activities, material receipts, inventory transactions, and quality documentation
- Participate in routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Assist in identifying root causes of inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions to improve accuracy
- Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, Project Management, and Quality Assurance to align logistics and material planning with project timelines and product needs
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in accordance with safety protocols
- Respond flexibly to shifting project demands, supplier changes, and logistics challenges
- Analyze inventory and procurement data to identify trends, delays, or inconsistencies
- Safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily operations
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience2+ years of prior experience that spans a broad range of supply chain disciplinesSecurity Clearance
