Safety Engineer

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking Safety Engineer to work in the Findlay, Oh area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. Salary range is $70,000 to-$75,000. Excellent benefits.

Position Summary :

The Safety Engineer is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management within the automotive manufacturing facility. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and continuously improving safety systems, processes, and culture to protect employees, equipment, and the environment while supporting efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Safety Management & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and maintain plant safety programs in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses (JHAs) for manufacturing processes, equipment, and new projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety-related standards (e.g., ISO 45001, NFPA, ANSI, IATF 16949).
• Manage incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective / preventive action plans.
