Job Description
Do you love partnering and solving problems within your community? Do you have a passion for helping small businesses grow and succeed?
Are you someone that naturally mentors and coaches’ people in your network?
As the Community Banker Team Lead/Small Business Banker you will work with a collaborative team and partner with customers in your community. You will provide leadership and functions as a sales coach for team members and assists with their training and development. In addition, you will coach, mentor, and have oversight within this local branch and work with neighboring locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively partner with customers in the community to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Cross-sell products and services to meet customer needs.
- Coaching and mentor a team to ensure excellence customer service and sales performance. This can include guiding our teller operations.
- Build relationships with small business owners and provide them with financial advice and support.
- May supervise balancing and summarizing daily business and cash; this may include record keeping aspects of the new account functions.
- Collaborates with market leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Combination of education and experience that can be achieved through: 9 years of professional experience OR 7 years professional experience and 2 years post-secondary experience OR 5 years professional experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR 3 years professional experience and Master’s degree,
- Mentoring, coaching, supervisory, or leadership experience a plus
- Experience in sales or promotion of products and services will support your success in this role.
- Ability to demonstrate and consistently model Bremer Relationship Management values, Bremer C3 Leadership Competencies and foster an inclusive work environment.
- Eligible to hold NMLS credentials.
