Job descriptionNo medication administration). Use a Hoyer lift safely and correctly to transfer clients as needed. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment. Monitor and document client’s condition, behavior, and physical / mental status. Communicate effectively with family members, care managers, and other care team members. Follow the client’s personalized care plan and agency policies at all times. Maintain client dignity, privacy, and respect at all times. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar home care or direct care role. Proficient in using a Hoyer lift and trained in safe client transfers. Knowledge of proper body mechanics and client safety techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Must be dependable, trustworthy, and compassionate. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Current CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Background check and references required. Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) . Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals in a home setting. We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Direct Care Worker to provide high-quality, person-centered care to clients in their homes.
This role involves assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), meal preparation, medication reminders, and safe transfers using a Hoyer lift.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility.
- Prepare and serve meals according to client’s dietary needs and preferences.
