Requirements :

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• The program must be accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.

Display evidence of interest in continuing education within the profession PTA reports directly to immediate supervisory PT Typical Physical Demands :

Lift up to 10lbs overhead occasionally Lift up to 50lbs from floor to knuckle occasionally Lift up to 25lbs from knuckle to shoulder occasionally Pivot transfer up to 150lbs occasionally Carry up to 50lbs, 200ft frequently Push / pull 75lbs, 100ft frequently Fine hand manipulation, bilaterally continuously Heavy grasp, bilaterally frequently Visually acuity connect to 20 / 20 Tactile discrimination Stand up to 2 hours frequently Comprehensible verbal communication skills continuously Drive up to 2 hours Legible written communication continuously Squat, stoop, or kneel up to 15 minutes occasionally Sit up to 2 hours occasionally Typical Working Conditions :
