• 1 Patient Care Flexibility to Create Your Own Schedule Mileage Reimbursement Drive Time Reimbursement Weekend Hours Available Service Area – Muncie / Alexandria  Job Responsibilities   The Physical Therapy Assistant is responsible for implementing programs that focus on rehabilitation.
• Work directly with patients on therapeutic exercises designed to help regain full mobility, strengthen their muscles, and improve coordination, following plan of care specifically written for individual patient.
• Observe and reassess patient's progress.
• Coordinate treatment plan with patient, family and other team members.
• Collaborate with PT and other disciplines to ensure best patient outcomes.
• Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patient's progress.
• Ensure patients receive personalized care.
• Provide training for using assistive devices, such as crutches, canes or prosthetics.
• Record and document patient care services.
• Education, Licensure(s), And Qualifications.   Valid Physical Therapist Assistant licensure as required by state regulations CPR certification required (ACLS preferred) Previous Home Health experience is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Must possess attention to detail skills.
• Ability to prioritize work using fundamental time management skills.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to foster a team environment.
• Demonstrates knowledge and technical skills necessary for providing competent, comprehensive patient care.
• Must possess problem solving abilities, excellent customer service skills, and patient first characteristics.
