Job Description and Duties
Candidates must perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Under the general direction of a Financial Accountant III or IV, the Financial Accountant II will act as a supervisor over staff performing technical and professional financial accounting activities;
performing reconciliation and validation activities for accounting system conversion; and developing desk procedures, training curriculum, and guidelines for a variety of statewide financial accounting and reporting activities.
This position resides within the Bureau of State Government Reporting and will perform duties associated with the implementation of the statewide FI$Cal Project which is replacing the State’s current financial accounting and reporting systems.
