Job Overview
Manage all material handling personnel and warehouse functions for seamless supply of raw materials to production areas. Also manage finished goods trafficking from production areas to distribution points.
Responsibilities
Functional responsibility for receiving, warehousing, workflow to production, inventory and transactional accuracy
Develops the system of supply by means of kitting, replenishment, and vehicle method
Communicate requirements for on-site materials for production schedules
Schedule and secure delivery of off-site materials
Manages cycle count program accuracy to eliminate the need for physical inventory
Expedite as necessary materials to the plant based on production needs
Develops safety and skills training for all material handling activities
Embraces a lean culture for 5S, high efficiency, and waste reduction
Determines equipment and supply needs of department
Participates in capital budgeting process
Manages warehouse capital projects
Manages departmental KPIs and share with team to drive improvements
Qualifications
Detail oriented and ability to build positive relationships with internal and external customers.
Self-driven, results oriented and motivated to work effectively without direct supervision.
Demonstrated organization skills, good time management skills, strong analytical and data driven problem-solving skills.
Experience in collaborating across multiple departments.
Familiar with and proficient with MS Office and / or Google Suite Sheets, Docs, Forms, Slides, etc
Capable of understanding operational requirements to provide effective support.
Working knowledge of WMS and RF equipment, preferably Warehouse BOSS.
10+ years in Warehouse / Logistics Management
Successful candidate must have worked in a manufacturing environment 3 to 5 years supplying raw materials to production areas.
BS Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
