Simpli.fi is currently looking for an Assistant Controller to join our Accounting team in Fort Worth. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with GAAP, managing internal controls, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

What You'll Be Doing :

• Support the Controller in managing all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
• Lead cash management and treasury activities, including monitoring daily cash positions, managing bank relationships
• Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate liquidity and support investment and borrowing strategies
• Oversee software capitalization and monthly debt management
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support the annual audit process by preparing schedules and liaising with external auditors
• Adoption and application of new accounting standards
