Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, active Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification, and 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position seeks an experienced educator to provide specialized instruction and support to elementary students who are deaf or hard of hearing. The role is designed for the summer ESY (Extended School Year) session, facilitating continuity of learning and munication development during the break period.

Responsibilities include :

• Delivering tailored instruction to students with hearing impairments
• Collaborating with school staff and families to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Utilizing assistive listening devices and munication strategies to enhance learning
• Monitoring and documenting student progress
• Creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
