What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the retail location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe for irregularities and report any concerns according to site protocols. Communicate with property management, law enforcement, and / or emergency responders as needed in accordance with established procedures. Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities. Assist with crowd control and provide wayfinding assistance to customers and visitors as needed. Minimum Requirements : Access control or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
