Position Summary
The IT Manager, Data Partner (Manager of Data Partners) leads a team of LOB-dedicated Data Partners who serve as the primary interface between Analytics & Innovation (A&I) and their assigned businesses. This role orchestrates cross-line-of-business intake, prioritization, and delivery of data products; enforces alignment with the enterprise data strategy (Unified Data Model, KPI Store, MDM, governance, data quality); and ensures measurable business value and adoption at scale. The manager is the escalation point for portfolio trade-offs, standards, and value realization across all supported LOBs.

Has responsibility for employee development, performance reviews, pay reviews, and staffing decisions. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes, or programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages daily operations of the team, providing guidance, mentorship, and driving a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Oversees recruitment, development, retention, and performance to build strong talent.
- Plans and leads IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and adhere to quality standards.
- Ensures the availability, reliability, and security of technology systems. Collaborates with key stakeholders and internal groups to identify needs, deliver effective solutions, and support business objectives.
- Lead and develop the Data Partner team, fostering innovation, high performance, and alignment with business strategies.
- Translate LOB priorities into data, analytics, and AI initiatives, ensuring enterprise alignment and clear engagement mechanisms.
- Own central intake, portfolio visibility, and prioritization of data and analytics initiatives across LOBs.
- Align projects to strategic goals, capacity, and enterprise standards while managing dependencies and trade-offs.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of data products (dashboards, KPIs, datasets, predictive models, AI solutions) that meet business needs.
- Define success measures, track adoption and value, and ensure predictable, high-quality delivery.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and alignment with enterprise standards and governance policies.
- Harmonize metrics and advocate for reusable, enterprise-level solutions.
- Enable integration and contextualization of OT / IT and time-series data for analytics-ready LOB insights.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other computer-related degree required.10+ years of diversified IT experience required.3+ years of experience leading professional staff required.7+ years in data & analyticsDemonstrated success running cross-functional intake / prioritization and delivering measurable outcomes through data products.Expertise with modern Microsoft / Azure data stack (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Synapse / Fabric, Data Factory, Azure SQL), governance (Microsoft Purview), MDM (Profisee / SAP MDG), and BI (Power BI).Familiarity with industrial / operations data and contextualization; experience in energy / oil & gas domains (Commercial / trading, Refining, Midstream, Finance) strongly preferred; knowledge of E / ETRM (e.g., RightAngle or SAP) and planning / scheduling a plus.Skills
