Senior Engineering Project Manager — Temple, TX (On-site)
About the role
Lead a greenfield plant start-up from zero : CAPEX, utilities, and packaging lines (glass / PET, spray) through commissioning and handover. You'll own scope, budget, timeline, quality, and vendor management.
What you'll do
- Build and execute the master plan (charter, URS, Gantt, change control, risk).
- Lead installation & commissioning of refining, bottling, and storage systems.
- Coordinate EPC / CMAR / GC, OEMs, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive safety, food-grade standards, and QA readiness (OSHA, NFPA, FDA).
- Track CAPEX, KPIs, and reporting to leadership.
Must-haves
7–10+ years in plant CAPEX & start-ups (food / CPG / pharma).PMI / Lean toolkit; AutoCAD and MS Project proficiency.Utilities & process exposure (electrical, HVAC, piping, fluids).Regulatory familiarity : UL / ASME / NFPA / FDA; GMP / FSSC awareness.Bilingual English / Spanish; on-site leadership; ability to relocate to Temple, TX.Nice to have
TPM / SMED / DMAIC; packaging line startup (filler, capper, labeler, palletizer).Experience with permitting / due diligence in the U.S.Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related Engineering.Apply
