Position Type : Contract

Contract Duration : ~6 months

Start Date : ASAP

Schedule : Tuesday to Saturday, 2 : 00 AM – 10 : 30 AM with rotating Sundays (12 : 00 AM – 8 : 30 AM)

Overtime : Required regularly

Travel : Occasionally required (e.g., Houston home office or nearby sites)

Job Summary

We are hiring a Timekeeper to support the Mammoth Solar Project in Indiana. This role is essential in ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance for craft professionals across multiple shifts. You’ll be responsible for time entry, reporting, onboarding, and real-time support for a high-impact renewable energy project.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate daily craft timekeeping and payroll records

Perform onboarding, badging, terminations, and classification updates

Reconcile and export daily time records using eTrack

Process weekly payroll checks, direct deposit slips, and off-cycle payments

Support crew time sheet tracking and reporting

Monitor attendance, call-ins, and PTO tracking

Maintain and scan personnel files for compliance and retention

Support gate watch and access badge scanning

Assist with shift coverage for swing / night / weekend work as needed

Coordinate with Labor Relations, Project Finance, and Construction Supervision

Required Experience

1–2 years of timekeeping or payroll administration experience

Required Skills

Timekeeping systems (e.g., eTrack)

Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word (intermediate level)

Craft payroll and attendance tracking

Strong customer service and communication

Excellent time management and flexibility

Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays

Nice-to-Have Experience

Prior experience supporting large construction or engineering projects

Familiarity with union labor environments or multi-craft payroll

Additional Skills

Badge creation and troubleshooting

Records retention scanning and digital filing
