Job description
A company is looking for a Remote Medical Director, Inpatient Medicare.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate medical management, quality improvement, and credentialing functions
Perform medical review activities for utilization review and quality assurance
Collaborate with clinical teams and providers to optimize care for high-risk patients
Required Qualifications
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with active practice
Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Utilization Management experience preferred
Coursework in Health Administration or related fields is advantageous
Current, unrestricted state license as an MD or DO
