Day to day as a General Accountant I

As a Full Time General Accountant I at Miami Valley Community Action Partnership, you can expect a structured and supportive environment that fosters your growth. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing reports that contribute to the financial health of our nonprofit organization. You will also be responsible for reconciling accounts, assisting with audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Collaboration with other departments will be key, as you'll gather necessary financial data to support their initiatives.

Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM, providing a consistent routine that allows you to balance your professional and personal commitments. Expect guidance from experienced colleagues as you embark on this rewarding journey in the nonprofit sector.
