Position Overview

The Autodesk Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) portfolio connect the top floor to the shop floor and supply chain so customers can move seamlessly through each phase of a product's development lifecycle from design and validation to production engineering, manufacturing execution, and operation with a best-in-class Fusion Industry Cloud platform and market-leading specialist products.

Reporting to our Sr. Director, Product Manager for Design and Manufacturing, we are seeking an experienced Product Management leader for the Manufacturing product portfolio at Autodesk.

This Manufacturing portfolio of products are critical to the current and future growth of Fusion. The primary responsibilities will center on setting the holistic Manufacturing strategy, clearly communicating that strategy internally and with our community, and working closely with teams across Autodesk to deliver against the strategy.

We are a remote-first workplace. You’ll work with teammates across the globe and will travel up to 20 % of the time for face-to-face meetings like conferences, team offsites, and customers.

If you prefer office life, we have offices in numerous cites including San Francisco, Portland, Denver, Boston, and Atlanta.

Responsibilities

  • Own and shape the product strategy and roadmap for Manufacturing
  • Lead a Product Management organization composed of a number of groups focusing on various parts of our manufacturing portfolio
  • Coach product leaders in building best practices and providing growth paths for individuals
  • Lead by example, creating a sense of energy and accountability
  • Help the team balance tactical and strategic priorities, balancing tech debt along with business critical features to ensure we deliver rich and robust experiences to customers
  • Communicate and collaborate internally across ADSK and externally with our community

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of combined manufacturing industry and product management software experience
  • For internal candidates 2+ years as a manager of a Product Management team
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in cultivating high-performing teams
  • Experience communicating effectively to convey product vision, requirements, and strategies across teams while building trusted partnerships with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success with leadership, cross-functional partnership, and collaboration across a matrixed organization
  • Willingness to work with international teams spread throughout the globe

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $187,000 and $302,500.

Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
