Seeking a detail-driven Attorney with 5 to 10+ years' Auditing and Compliance expertise for an AV-rated, mid-sized Insurance Defense firm in Los Angeles / Irvine area. This Attorney Auditor position is ideal for a legal professional with a strong foundation in both law and auditing who can analyze legal and financial records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and client policies. The role requires meticulous document review, risk assessment, and compliance evaluation. You will collaborate closely with top-tier attorneys, compliance officers, and clients to evaluate adherence to laws and ethical standards, and work across multiple practice areas in a collegial work environment. With a casual laid-back atmosphere and sports-themed office, this firm is passionate about building a collaborative work culture and encourages team-building and family- and pet-friendly events!

Key Responsibilities

• Review contracts, financial statements, and compliance docs for accuracy, consistency, and legal sufficiency.
• Conduct compliance audits to identify potential legal and regulatory risks.
• Perform risk assessments to detect discrepancies or gaps in legal and financial practices.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and recommendations for improving compliance and minimizing risk.
• Support forensic reviews, investigations, and due diligence during transactions or regulatory inquiries.

Qualifications

Daily in-office role with potential for hybrid. Base salary compensation range, DOE $130K - $160K. Additional details on benefits, 401K and PTO available. First interview via zoom; second in-person.
