Job Title : Java Backend Developer (Not Full stack Developers)

Location : Sunnyvale, CA (onsite)

Duration : Contract

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java Backend Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend services and APIs. You'll work closely with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver secure, reliable, and efficient software solutions.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Java, experience building RESTful APIs, and a solid understanding of backend systems, data management, and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and microservices using Java (preferably Java 11 or newer) .
• Develop robust, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Integrate with relational and / or NoSQL databases.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues as needed.
• Contribute to the improvement of development processes, tools, and CI / CD pipelines.
