About the Position :
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with progressive human resources experience. The HR Generalist will play a key role in managing a wide range of HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of HR best practices to support our organization’s goals and foster a positive workplace culture.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be on-site 3-4 days a week.
Job Responsibilities :
- Onboarding : Facilitate seamless onboarding processes to ensure new hires are integrated effectively.
- Employee Relations : Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns, resolving conflicts, conducting investigations, and promoting a positive work environment. Guide HR policies and procedures.
- Performance Management : Support managers in performance reviews, goal setting, and employee development plans. Implement performance improvement processes when needed.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO). Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR regulations and ensure company policies align with legal standards.
- HR Project Management-
- HRIS Management : Maintain and update HR information systems to ensure accurate employee records and data integrity.
- Benefits Administration : Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and coordinate open enrollment.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of sales management experience, and at least 6 years of alcohol sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibilityHigh School diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate; Bachelor’s degree preferredResults-driven, enthusiastic & motivatedProficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Polished Sales & Presentation SkillsAbility to coach / train / motivate / influenceAnalytical skills / strategic visionPricing analysis proficiencyBe knowledgeable of Federal and State regulations as they pertain to the sale of alcoholic beveragesPhysically capable of executing all essential functions to perform the jobMust have a valid US Driver’s License, a safe driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to be used for work purposesLegally eligible to work in the United StatesBenefits
