Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Augusta, Georgia 30901 Position : Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Travel Contract Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Job Start Date : November 10, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Duration : 14 weeks Shift : Mid Shift, 3x12-Hour (13 : 00 - 01 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Pay : $1570 - $1610 Setting : 59-bed, high-acuity, non-trauma Emergency Department Patient Population : Adolescents to geriatrics Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 4 Charting System : Epic (required) Scrub Color : Navy Blue Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Floating : Rare Flu Vaccine : Required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) experience Active Georgia or Compact Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at time of submission) Previous travel nursing experience required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (all required) Proficiency with Epic charting system Ability to manage a 1 : 4 nurse-to-patient ratio in a high-acuity, fast-paced clinical setting Full compliance with onboarding and orientation requirements Two supervisory references highly preferred at time of submission Must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 full year to return as a traveler Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) ER Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy, non-trauma Emergency Department Assess, triage, and manage patients with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions, from adolescents to geriatrics Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient status according to established protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and social services Utilize Epic for all clinical documentation and patient care coordination Participate in stroke and STEMI certified care processes Maintain compliance with all facility policies, including holiday and weekend coverage Support patients and families, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the care process Join Augusta's leading healthcare team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) and make a meaningful impact in emergency care.
