RESPONSIBILITIES :
Media Strategy Development :
- Lead the development of comprehensive media strategies across digital and traditional channels, including programmatic, social, search, video, trade, and display.
- Conduct thorough audience research and leverage data to inform media strategies and ensure campaigns reach the intended targets effectively.
- Collaborate with Strategy, Creative, Client Partnerships, and Project Management teams to ensure media plans are integrated and aligned with broader campaign goals.
- Ensure strategies align with client objectives and are rooted in data-driven insights.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging media platforms to keep the agency at the forefront of digital innovation.
Media Buying & Negotiation :
Execute media buys across various digital platforms, ensuring optimal placement and performance.Negotiate rates, placements, and partnerships with media vendors to secure the best value for clients.Manage relationships with media vendors, ensuring clear communication, timely delivery, and adherence to campaign requirements.Campaign Planning & Execution :
Oversee the planning and execution of media campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet performance goals.Collaborate with Strategy, Creative, Client Partnerships, and Project Management teams to ensure media plans are integrated and cohesive.Optimize campaigns in real-time, making adjustments as needed to maximize ROI and achieve client KPIs.Campaign Management & Optimization :
Monitor and optimize campaigns in real-time, adjusting tactics as needed to improve performance and achieve client KPIs.Analyze campaign data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.Provide and lead regular performance reports to clients and internal teams, highlighting key metrics and recommending adjustments as needed.Team Leadership & Development :
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of media planners and buyers.Foster a collaborative, results-oriented culture that encourages innovation and professional growth.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Strategy, Creative, Client Partnerships, and Project Management, to deliver cohesive and effective campaigns.Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of media planning and buying processes within the agency.Conduct regular check-ins with junior members of the media team to provide ongoing training and development opportunities.Client & Stakeholder Management :
Serve as the primary media contact for key clients, providing strategic guidance and insights.Present media strategies, plans, and performance reports to clients, ensuring clear communication of value and impact.Collaborate with the Client Partnerships team to maintain strong, trusting client relationships.Vendor & Partner Relations :
Manage relationships with external media vendors, platforms, and technology partners.Negotiate media buys and partnerships to secure the best rates and opportunities for clients.Evaluate and onboard new media partners and technologies that align with the agency's goals.Budget Management & Reporting :
Oversee media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and tracking of spend.Manage media budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of spend across channels to maximize ROI.Track and report on media expenditures, ensuring campaigns stay within budget while delivering optimal results.Assist in forecasting and financial planning related to media buys and campaign execution.Provide regular reports on media performance, budget utilization, and ROI.Analyze campaign results to generate actionable insights and recommendations for future campaigns.Innovation & Thought Leadership :
Drive innovation in media planning and buying processes, leveraging new technologies and platforms.Contribute to the agency's thought leadership by staying informed on industry trends and sharing insights with clients and internal teams.Participate in industry events, panels, and conferences to represent the agency and expand professional networks.Stay up-to-date with the latest digital media trends, technologies, and best practices.Experiment with new media channels, formats, and tools to keep campaigns fresh and innovative.Share insights and learnings with the broader team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.QUALIFICATIONS :
You have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.You have 7+ years of experience in digital media planning and buying.You have a proven track record of developing and executing successful media strategies across multiple digital channels.You're highly analytical, able to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.You have excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.You're an excellent negotiator and can expertly navigate and manage media vendor relationships.You deeply understand programmatic, social, search, video, and display advertising.You have demonstrated experience with media planning tools, DSPs, and analytics platforms.You enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
