New York, NY law firm is seeking an experienced full-time Associate Attorney

A respected mid-sized law firm specializing in insurance defense is seeking motivated Attorneys to join its growing team. This position offers the opportunity to handle a variety of litigation matters in a supportive and professional environment with room for growth.

Note : Our client is also seeking candidates with experience in : general liability, auto law, premise liability, municipal law or labor law

Key Responsibilities :

Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution.

Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, hearings, and mediations.

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation documents.

Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.

Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues.

Track and bill time in accordance with client and firm requirements.

Qualifications :

Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active New York Bar license.

1-10 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, general liability, auto law, premises liability, municipal or labor law required.

Ability to manage billable hours effectively.

Strong written and oral advocacy skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Team-oriented with a proactive and motivated mindset.

Position : Remote / hybrid

Billable Hours : 2200 annually or 185 a month

Salary : 100-165k

Benefits : Blue cross / blue shield platinum the person contributes to. Health, dental, vision, bonus (if you meet 200 monthly billable hours you get 1,000; 225 monthly billable you get 1,500). Even if you don't make bonuses they still review annually and get bonuses every year. 10% on defense work, 50% on plaintiff cases or any other work (real estate)
