As a Campus Instructor, you will be delivering both on-campus and online education of MSC programs as approved by the state’s licensing requirements.

In a coordinated effort with the Campus Director, you will ensure positive student experience, and from time to time develop employer relationships, increase student enrollment, participate in student retention, assist in graduate placement, enhance program curriculum, build alumni alliances, and adhere to company and state licensing requirements.

PREREQUISITES

Must have a minimum of 5- 8 years experience in the Orthopedic industry with a proficiency in primarily Extremities and Orthopedic Reconstruction and Trauma.

Must have a 4 year degree

Must have had sales (1099 or W2), marketing, and / or medical education experience in one or all of the above specialties

Must be able to stand and teach 8 hour days for 4.5 consecutive days in a week

Must be personable, patient, and empathetic to new students learning how to break into this industry.

TRAINING EXPECTATIONS

Maintain consistency by training from a defined and provided, specialty-specific, training curriculum.

Ensure a positive student experience measurable by student feedback collected in weekly surveys.

Deliver technical and sales training to students, including classroom lab and online by using the Canvas platform.

Demonstrate the ability to effectively identify, address, and manage challenges in the classroom setting.

Provide candid and specific verbal performance feedback to students including a plan for improvement adhering to the school’s Standards of Academic Performance .

Collaborate with managers and team members to ensure consistency of training throughout all specialty programs.

Maintain subject matter expertise within your orthopedic specialty including, but not limited to, accessing resources to keep up-to-date on industry advancements, new products and practices, and continuing education.

Plan and Schedule educational activities for students as part of your orthopedic specialty program.

Partner with leadership and other departments to facilitate opportunities for surgeon guest speaker enrichment in designated specialty weeks in online classes.

Support your colleagues and students in the transition between trainers by speaking highly of your colleagues and handing off the class to the next instructor.

Promote a clear and consistent message to students through unified messaging and the use of LMS announcements and other communication modalities to enhance the student experience.

Additional responsibilities may include before and / or after class hours to include but not limited to grading, packing and shipping travel totes, speaking and / or meeting staff and students.

Provide world class education preparing students for careers in medical sales.

STUDENT EXPERIENCE & PLACEMENT

Deliver technical and sales training to students, including classroom, lab and online by using the Canvas platform.

Ownership of the experience and placement of all students enrolled at the campus via Talent Acquisition Team & employer relationships.

Provide candid and specific performance feedback to students, including a plan for improvement when necessary.

Support student lab experience with surgeon and rep participation.

COMPLIANCE

Provide training that is consistent with approved didactic content and lab requirements, both in classroom and online.

Ensure school policies are followed in accordance with company Policies and Procedures and State Licensing requirements.

LEADERSHIP

Maintain a professional image (dress, behavior, language) reflective of standards of our corporate environment and higher education.

Demonstrate commitment to professional growth and development, and maintain subject matter expertise.

Participate in the onboarding of new trainers from time to time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand and follow policies and procedures (company & school).

Participate in growing our brand awareness by taking photos / videos while on campus to assist marketing efforts by providing real portrayals of our students in action, especially in labs and guest visits.

Ability to work in an upright and / or stationary position for 8+ hours per day.

Follow-up on emails, texts and phone calls within 24 hours.

Record student, graduate and employer conversations in Hubspot immediately after the communication.

Use RingCentral for all student, graduate and employer conversations.

Light to moderate lifting, carrying and moving of objects including luggage, laptop computer, instrument tray / totes, boxes up to 35lbs.

Additional responsibilities as may be assigned by management.
