JOB OVERVIEW :
The Sr. Financial Analyst, Operations Analysis is responsible for forecasting, analyzing, and financial modeling in support of the brand business objectives. In this role, the analyst is also responsible for developing proactive solutions and communicating potential impact on the overall business. Additionally, the analyst will work closely with Brand Operations and Brand Leadership to ensure business needs are met.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES :
- \tPartner with Operations Leadership, Finance Leadership, and Restaurant Management teams to develop best practices that will deliver restaurant sales and earnings growth in support of brand financial commitments.
- \tProvide financial oversight of divisional performance and ensure Business Plan targets are being achieved.
- \tAssist Divisional Vice Presidents and Directors in the development, implementation and monitoring of plans that improve restaurant earnings. This includes ensuring that waste management tools (A vs. T and Par / Pull) and labor productivity tools (LMS) are being used to their full potential.
- \tAnalyze, identify, and communicate emerging trends and their impact, so action is prioritized appropriately.
- \tIdentify and support restaurants that are not meeting their earnings potential through outlier identification and analysis.
- \tVisit restaurants / markets, to gain insight related to specific initiatives that may be in test and / or proactively identifying opportunities and develop plans for improvement of controllable expenses for existing restaurants.
- \tLeverage data analysis to determine the financial impact of proposed business initiatives.
- \tPrepare and coordinate various weekly, monthly and / or year-end analyses, and financial reports for management review.
- \tProvide ad hoc reports, analysis and participate in special projects as needed.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS :
\tMinimum of 3+ years' experience in an analytical role or restaurant operations\tProven strong financial and analytical skills\tProven spreadsheet and data retrieval skills\tDemonstrates the capability to build financial models and apply forecasting techniques with an emphasis on statistical analysis of economic and financial data\tStrong project management skillsREQUIRED EDUCATION :
