The position is hybrid working environment with a minimum of 3 days in the office, typically Tuesday through Thursday, with the ability to work from home the remaining workdays. Candidates must be able to travel to plant sites when needed (approx. 6-8 days / month with ability to support longer durations).

Education / Experience / Licensure :

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering from an accredited university ( required )
• Master of Science or other advanced degree in engineering (preferred)
• PE registration (highly preferred) – or ability to obtain PE License within one year of employment ( required )
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in design and 4 years’ experience in design of modifications in nuclear (DOE or commercial) plants
• Experience working with multiple operating nuclear clients and vendors (highly preferred)
• On-site and past unescorted access (highly preferred) or ability to obtain unescorted access at an operating or construction nuclear plant ( required )
• Experience with Industry Standard Design Procedure IP-ENG-001 ( required )
• Knowledgeable of Industry Standard Digital Design Engineering NISP-EN-04 ( required )
• Machine design experience (preferred)
