JOB SUMMARY

The Council for Professional Recognition promotes improved performance and recognition of professionals in the early childhood education of children ages birth to 5 years old. The Council works to ensure that all professional early childhood educators and caregivers meet the developmental, emotional, and educational needs of our nation’s youngest children. The Data Analyst will play a key role in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making within the Council. The analyst will analyze large datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve business operations, optimize processes, and support data-driven decision-making. The analyst is responsible for data mining and data exploration to identify patterns and trends in data. They will be expected to use tools and techniques to improve business processes. The analyst will build models and simulations that can predict the future outcomes of business decisions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs, ensure data accuracy, develop meaningful reports and comprehensive dashboards and visualizations. Successful analysts will be extraordinarily inquisitive and possess the technical skills necessary to tell persuasive stories both in writing and through complex visualizations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Analysis & Insights :

• Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Extract insights from the data and provide solutions to business challenges using the insights generated.
• Create complex and sophisticated dashboards and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions and provide recommendations.
• Support data-driven decision-making by collecting, storing, processing, and generating insights from data by translating complex data into actionable insights.
• Utilize strategies including predictive and prescriptive analytics to aid in strategic decision-making.

Required to move, raise, reach, and / or retrieve binders, books, boxes, and files up to ten (10) pounds (lbs.). Sporadically, could be responsible for moving, raising, reaching, and / or retrieving binders, boxes, cases, and / or files weighing as much as 25 lbs. (Assistance may not always be available.)

Salary :

The salary range is $97,000-107,000. This position is budgeted not to exceed the $107,000.
