General Foreman
General Foreman work closely with our Superintendents in planning and coordinating projects, ordering materials, and managing manpower to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget, and to company safety and quality standards.

- Manage, direct, and supervise crew leaders, field personnel and equipment as well as plan and execute assigned work by :
- Organizing and assigning crews and equipment to efficiently perform the required work
- Understanding and following all company policies, procedures, and work rules
- Maintaining accurate records of required work
- Maintain a safe work site by instructing crews how to use tools and equipment, how to handle materials and what safety equipment is necessary when performing tasks
- Give feedback on the crew's performance and suggest ways to improve
- Address issues with crew members promptly and report rule violations immediately to Project Management
- Serve as a first line communicator to field staff, communicating company information to crews while supporting and advancing company values and standards
- Support crew members in their career endeavors, recommending employees for promotion and / or advancement
- Communicate job requirements to crew before beginning work emphasizing special needs of clients
- Follow all safety and work conduct rules and ensure that staff is doing the same
- Keep informed of Company news and developments and communicate same to staff
- Promote the safe and efficient use of equipment, trucks, and trailers, always advancing a culture of safety
- Report any injuries or property damage immediately to Management
- Oversee all aspects of the job site : coordinate, schedule, direct, monitor and inspect all activities of the subcontractors, suppliers, labor and material, train. Mentor foreman and crew members
- Assist in the selection and hiring of related staff. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions
- Other related duties and projects as assigned
