We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is a permanent position that will play a crucial role in our financial department. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including cost accounting, inventory management, financial statement preparation, and SAP system operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vlookups, Pivot Tables, and journal entries. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our company's financial growth and stability while working in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities :

1. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

2. Handle cost accounting tasks including setting standard costs, reviewing actual costs, and analyzing variances.

3. Manage inventory accounting, ensuring accurate costing and valuation of inventory.

4. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

5. Conduct regular vlookups and generate Pivot Tables for data analysis.

6. Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the ledger.

7. Utilize SAP software for various accounting operations and financial management.

8. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

9. Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.

10. Collaborate with auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.

11. Participate in continuous policy and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.

3. Proficient in vlookups, Pivot Tables, and journal entries.

4. Solid understanding of financial statements and cost accounting.

5. Strong experience with SAP software.

6. Extensive knowledge of inventory management in a manufacturing setting.

7. Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

8. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

11. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is a plus.
