Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Development Executive (SDE) to be a vital part of our growing go-to-market (GTM) team.
As an SDE, you will serve as the first point of contact for numerous prospects, playing a vital role in generating pipeline, identifying qualified opportunities, and collaborating closely with Account Executives (AEs) to drive CelerData's expansion in global markets.
This role is an excellent fit for someone passionate about data and cloud technologies, who enjoys engaging with diverse audiences, and is looking to cultivate a lasting career in enterprise sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify and prospect target accounts through various outbound channels such as email, LinkedIn, calls, and events.
- Qualify inbound leads generated from marketing campaigns, webinars, Slack channels, and other events.
- Execute initial discovery calls to evaluate prospect needs and fit, utilizing MEDDIC frameworks.
- Schedule and manage high-quality meetings or demos for the AE team.
- Keep precise and current records of all prospect interactions in Salesforce or an equivalent CRM.
- Work hand-in-hand with marketing to enhance messaging and provide field feedback.
- Meet and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs such as qualified opportunities, meetings booked, and conversion rates.
- Remain knowledgeable about CelerData and StarRocks product offerings, the competitive landscape, and industry trends.
Qualifications
A strong hunter mindset, constantly seeking new business opportunities.1-3 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or a client-facing role in B2B SaaS or data infrastructure.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.Self-driven, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.Familiarity with CRM and outreach tools, such as ZoomInfo, HubSpot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.A keen interest in data, cloud, or analytics technologies is a strong advantage.This position is REMOTE and can accommodate candidates from various locations.
