Role Overview

We are seeking a Network Operations Engineer to manage, monitor, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and operational efficiency. This role will support end-to-end network operations across multiple systems, including LAN / WAN, firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and network monitoring tools. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and capable of troubleshooting complex network issues in a high-volume, hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring systems.

Monitor network performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.

Implement and optimize network configurations, patching, and updates to maintain performance and security.

Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and ensure reliable network delivery.

Support network automation initiatives and process improvements to increase operational efficiency.

Apply best practices to ensure network security, compliance, and data integrity.

Document network procedures, configurations, and incident resolutions for operational consistency.

Assist in capacity planning, performance analysis, and continuous improvement of network operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

7+ years of experience in network operations, administration, or related IT infrastructure roles.

Hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for network-related issues.

Experience working in hybrid or multi-site network environments.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and manage network operations in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, PowerShell).

Familiarity with cloud networking platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Knowledge of high-availability network architectures and disaster recovery planning.

Understanding of ITIL processes, incident management, and change management frameworks.
