We're Hiring : Accountant – Healthcare System | Philadelphia, PA

Join one of the region’s largest and most respected healthcare systems in Philadelphia, PA as an Accountant supporting the Finance Department. This full-time role is essential to maintaining accurate financial operations and delivering timely reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role :

The Accountant will assist in preparing and reviewing account analyses, journal entries, and financial reports. This position plays a key role in supporting accounting operations and contributing to data-driven projects and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in monthly financial close, including reviews and distribution of financial data

Prepare journal entries and account analyses

Support audit processes and month-end close activities

Retrieve reports from systems such

Data mine and assist with ad hoc reporting

Contribute to projects focused on data and process improvement

Perform duties in alignment with Hospital's values and policies

Other duties as assigned to support the department and health system

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

CPA highly preferred

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Experience with healthcare financial systems a plus
