We're seeking a skilled and reliable Pool Technician to join our growing team. You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing both residential and commercial pools to ensure they remain clean, safe, and operational. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Test and balance pool water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, etc.)Vacuum and brush pools, clean skimmer and pump baskets, and backwash filtersInspect and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, and timersIdentify and troubleshoot issues related to water quality or equipment functionPerform scheduled weekly / monthly maintenance visits to client propertiesDocument service visits and maintain accurate records for each jobMaintain company vehicle and equipment in clean and safe conditionCommunicate professionally with clients regarding services, issues, and recommendationsAdhere to all safety protocols and regulationsQualifications
High school diploma or equivalent1+ years of experience as a pool technician preferred (willing to train the right candidate)Valid driver's license with clean driving recordFamiliarity with basic mechanical systems and water chemistryAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyExcellent communication and customer service skillsComfortable working outdoors in various weather conditionsAbility to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, lifting)Preferred Qualifications
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or similar certificationBasic plumbing or electrical knowledgeExperience with saltwater and automated pool systemsSpanish speaking is a plus
