Better Living specializes in the reunification of families through a collaborative effort with DHHS. As a Family Support / Visitation Specialist, you will be part of the reunification process by focusing on creating an enriching environment that supports the healthy development of a child, tracking the progress of the families you work with, and setting and achieving goals to create a safe, supportive, and loving home.
Pay
Without bachelors degree - $19.40 / hour
With bachelors degree - $20.40 / hour

Education / Certification Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (required) with two years of experience in a human service related position. Associates degree and one year of experience or bachelors degree in a human services field (preferred). Human services experience examples include social work, counseling / guidance, psychology, sociology, human development, child, youth and family studies, mental health education, or a closely related human service field.
Job Type : Flexible Schedule. Evening and weekend hours are required. Weekly and daily schedules will vary depending on client availability; flexibility and an extended work week may be required.
Willingness to Travel : 50% (Required) using personal vehicle with paid mileage.
Work Location : In-home services – multiple locations
Qualifications & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include supporting reunification efforts, monitoring progress toward family goals, and providing in-home visits to families in the program. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience; associate or bachelors degree in a human services field is preferred. This role requires travel and flexible scheduling.
