IntePros is looking for an Applied Scientist III to work 100% remote for our Premier Client located in Seattle, WA. This is an exciting role that will work with a team of other applied scientist to help invent, design, and deliver cutting-edge science solutions to make it easier for customers to find other content they will enjoy.

Key Areas of Responsibility

The ideal candidate has great communication skills, can remove roadblocks, detail-oriented, and has a knack for breaking websites. QAE's regularly work with Developers, Product Managers and other Quality Engineers to ensure the proper operation of the production environment. During the development cycle, QAEs identify use cases, create test cases, execute tests, and report results.

Qualification

·Be a technical leader in the scientific development of recommendation system that will enable users to discover new educational items

·Work within multiple subdomains of the larger problem set (serve recommendations across multiple mediums or item types)

·Build machine learning models, perform proof-of-concept, experiment, optimize, and deploy your models into production; work closely with software engineers to assist in productionizing your ML models

·Conduct A/B experiments, gather data, and perform statistical analysis

·Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analysis, machine-learning model development, model validation and serving.

·Experience working on recommender systems such as in e-commerce, advertising, music, video or other fields.

·Experience in any of the following areas: recommendations, language models, information retrieval, search, relationship representations (embeddings, graph networks), NLP, similarity analysis

.Experience Needed

·* 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience

·* Experience in Python

·* PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience

·* Ability to develop machine learning platform strategy in the subdomain of recommender systems for media and, sdlc
