Job Profile : Learning and Development Manager, Senior

Job Responsibilities : The Learning and Development Manager, Senior, plays a crucial role in fostering the growth and development of employees at ViaPlus.

They are responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive learning strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring a skilled and engaged workforce.

This position has a global scope, with learning and development responsibilities for employees in the United States, Ireland, and India.

• Develop and implement learning and development strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
• Identify training needs through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms.
• Collaborate with HR Director on Workforce Analytics to determine workforce-skill alignment.
• Collaborate with departmental managers to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training solutions.
• Oversee the creation and delivery of training materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and presentations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
• Manage the learning management system (LMS) and other training platforms.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to employees to support their professional development.
• Collaborate with external vendors and training partners as needed.
• Track and report on training metrics, including participation rates, feedback, and outcomes.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and innovative learning solutions.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in learning and development or related fields.
• Strong understanding of learning theories and instructional design principles.
• Experience designing and delivering training programs across various formats and platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in learning management systems and other training tools.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Supervisory Responsibilities : None

Work Environment : The work environment is typical of an office setting, with occasional travel required. The employee will primarily work on a computer and may occasionally lift or move objects up to 20 pounds.
