Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Multi-Specialty Group seeks to add a full-time Orthopedic Physician Assistant. The position will include both the OR and the clinic. The Physician Assistant will support a Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon. In the OR the focus will be first assisting on total joints (hips and knees) and sports cases (arthroscopy). In the clinic the focus will be total joint cases and sports cases. Responsibilities include providing first assist, running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and education, pre- and post-H&P s, injections (small joints and bursa), consultation, and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified / Eligible. The doctor will train a recent graduate.

There is a competitive compensation package including an RVU based bonus program. Call is paid at double the base hourly rate.
