Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Sourcing and Operations Specialist to manage and develop vendor and supplier relationships, oversee supplier contracts and agreements, develop sourcing strategies, and optimize supply chain processes and effectiveness. Manage and optimize product availability, inventory levels, inventory management processes, and related inventory data.

MEPPI's Critical Power Solutions Division (CPSD) continually advances the design, manufacturing, and supply of fully integrated UPS solutions including switchgear and battery cabinets. With these operations, Mitsubishi Electric has been manufacturing precision engineered highly reliable Uninterruptible Power Supplies since 1964 and solving the challenges of American critical facilities since 1985. In 2021, the division expanded into new market verticals, launching IT Cooling products, services and complete solutions for the growing edge data center market.

This position will report to the CPSD Quality Department Manager. You will be required to work hybrid in Warrendale, PA.

What You'll Do :

• Manage and develop vendor / supplier relationships in coordination with relevant departments to enhance supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.
• Draft, negotiate and execute supplier contracts and agreements including evaluation, qualification, and risk assessment in collaboration with internal teams.
• Develop and present sourcing strategies incorporating supplier evaluations, risk analysis, and cost-savings that are aligned with Division objectives.
• Plan and manage procurement activities based on forecasts and internal requisitions to ensure timely product availability.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels to meet demand.
• Maintain and ensure accuracy and availability of ERP inventory records. Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure physical counts align with system counts.
• Issue purchase orders and coordinate timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Track and coordinate resolution of delivery issues and discrepancies.
• Monitor supplier performance and lead the resolution of commercial and technical issues.
• Lead efforts for cost recovery for non-conforming materials.
• Further the goals and positive, professional image of the Division through effective dealings with customers and other internal departments and divisions.
