Summary

The Sourcing Commodity Leader is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that support the company's operational and financial goals. This role leads supplier selection, contract negotiations, cost-reduction initiatives, and risk-management efforts across direct and indirect categories. The Sourcing Leader collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and finance to ensure supplier performance, innovation, and alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Supply Chain Management intelligence to identify and drive cost-reduction initiatives, benchmarks, and analyses based on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principle in every activity; follow material market costs, trends, and tools for continuous improvement in local material category strategy.
• Participate in new product development initiatives, ensuring appropriate supplier selection, expected total costs, and high-quality, profitable growth objectives.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives through value engineering, alternative sourcing, and process improvements.
• Monitor and manage supply-chain risks, including geopolitical, financial, and operational risks.
• Negotiate best prices, terms, and contractual agreements consistent with the company's established quality standards and business requirements.
• Initiate and lead supplier qualification processes, evaluations, and appropriate quality development.

Compensation

Base Compensation : $100,000 – 115,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
