Commercial RE Lending Counsel Financial Services

The client is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Lending Counsel to join their growing legal team. The role will primarily focus on advising on commercial lending transactional matters, including commercial real estate lending, credit and banking transactions, and bank regulatory matters. Responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of credit and collateral documentation, as well as managing outside counsel and working on special projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have a J.D. with strong academic credentials and NY State Bar admission, along with 5-10 years of experience in commercial real estate bank lending, finance transactions, and credit matters. Experience gained at a top NYC law firm or commercial bank is preferred, along with strong drafting and negotiating skills. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and an entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow their career.
